Winning the competition is what undoubtedly highlights you in the market. And even more so for a sector as competitive as the wine market. There are so many competing wine producing companies and cooperatives struggling to get a front row seat on a wine shop or restaurant shelf.

In such a scenario, winning a competition can act as a very powerful marketing tool, especially when paired with a marketing strategy and a solid support from the importer Shelved Wine Ltd.

 

In fact, the Wine Tasting Award will make available to the first classified real prizes, which will be based on the distribution of the winning wines and a 360-degree Marketing Service such as:

  • Visit to the winning winery with Valentino Minotti, owner of the importing company                             to plan distribution in England and which marketing plan to tailor for the company
     

  • Brand Ambassador Service: I will personally organize face-to-face meetings between myself and potential Restaurateurs / Sommeliers / Wine Buyers near London, where I will go to advertise winning products in order to expand the export of the winery that won
     

  • Interview at the very respectful "Eat Sleep Wine Repeat" podcast by Janina Doyle DipWSET
    with a total reach of over 5000 listeners
     

  • Personalized review on my Social Media which are: Website, Instagram, Facebook page, Vivino and LinkedIn where I boast a total of over 26,000 followers

For the first classified the following will be awarded:

  1. Certificate of assessment in A3 format

  2. Adhesive label with corresponding score / Medal (at the cost price of printing)

  3. Introduction with the importer Valentino Minotti and his company Shelved Wine

  4. Mention on Social Media

  5. Marketing Service
     

For the first 5 classified in each category:

  1. Certificate of assessment in A3 format

  2. Adhesive label with corresponding Score / Medal (at the cost price of printing)

  3. Mention on Social Media


For the rest classified:

  1. Certificate of assessment in A3 format

  2. Adhesive label with corresponding Score / Medal (at the cost price of printing)


​For the remaining participants who do not qualify for any medals:

  1. 15% voucher for participation to the following edition
